 Manufactured homes must be registered with a current decal at all times, even when unoccupied. For manufactured homes affixed to land that is rented, the decals expire December 31st each year. The registrations fee for a manufactured home is based on the length.

 A doublewide mobile home requires separate registration for each side.

 Failure to register each year will result in delinquent taxes.

 If you currently have a regular manufactured home decal, and you own the land your manufactured home is affixed to, you are required to have a permanent real property decal (often referred to as an RP decal). The Property Appraiser’s Office handles the applications for RP decals.
