Personalized License Plates |

Personalized
license plates are ordered and renewed through the Tax Collector’s Office. You can
apply for the initial plate at any time as long as the vehicle has a current Florida
license plate and registration at the time of application. |

When you order the plate, a $12
fee for the plate will be charged. This fee is is also paid every year that you have
the personalized
plate. A tag replacement fee is also due when you apply. If the personalized plate is also
a specialty plate, additional charges will be due at application and each year
thereafter. |

Personalized plates are replaced every 5
years. You should allow at least 60 days for the personalized plate to be processed. |
