Temporarily Employed Tag

 A temporarily employed registration license plate and certificate may be issued to applicants who are temporarily employed in our state. The certificate is valid for 90 days and may only be renewed once. A maximum of two 90-day plates may be issued to the same individual within a 12 month period. To receive a plate, the following is required:

 A copy of the current out-of-state registration
  •  
 Proof of insurance from the state the vehicle is currently registered in.
  •  
 A letter of verification from the place of employment stating the applicant is temporarily employed in Florida. (an affidavit may also be submitted from the applicant.)
