ADVERTISING LIST FOR 2010 REAL ESTATE TAXES

The advertising list was generated on May 9, 2011 for unpaid 2010 real estate parcels. There are 16,064 unpaid parcels for the 2010 tax year. There are also 32 unpaid parcels for the prior tax year of 2009 and 4 unpaid parcels from the prior tax year of 2008. The advertising list is being published in a limited distribution of the Sarasota Herald Tribune on Tuesday, May 17th, 24th and 31st.

Only those accounts that are not paid by May 31, 2011, will have a tax certificate awarded. The Tax Certificate Sale will be conducted on the internet at SarasotaCountyTaxSale.com. Bidding on certificates will be accepted until June 1, 2011. Certificates will be awarded beginning at 9:00 am ET on June 1st. Details on how to register for the sale and other important information can be obtained from the website.
