ADVERTISING LIST FOR 2007 REAL ESTATE TAXES

The advertising list was generated on May 5, 2008 for unpaid 2007 real estate parcels. There are 16,366 unpaid parcels for the 2007 tax year. There are also 28 unpaid parcels for the prior tax year of 2006 and 2 unpaid parcels from the prior tax year of 2005. The advertising list is being published in the Venice Gondolier Sun on Wednesday, May 14th, 21st and 28th.

Only those accounts that are not paid by June 1, 2008, will have a tax certificate awarded. The Tax Certificate Sale will be conducted on the internet at SarasotaCountyTaxSale.com. Bidding on certificates will be accepted until June 1, 2008. Certificates will be awarded beginning at 10:00 am ET on June 1st. Details on how to register for the sale and other important information can be obtained from the website.
