 | Only the registered owner or lienholder on record may
apply for a duplicate Florida title. |

| If there is an outstanding lien, only the lienholder
can apply for a duplicate title. If the lien has been satisfied, a lien satisfaction form
must be submitted with the duplicate application. |

| The application must be submitted directly to the
Department of Motor Vehicles in Tallahassee at the address on the top of the application
form. |
|
| The fee is $6.00 for regular issuance, or
$11.00 for an expedited title. Make check or money order payable to Sarasota County Tax Collector Barbara Ford-Coates. |
